Cheap Self Storage: Not for Pets

Would you believe some folks have tried to put their pets in cheap self storage units when they were going on vacation? As Toronto’s premier self storage facility, we handle a lot of unusual customer requests, but we draw the line at Fido or Fluffy. Aside from being way too dark and quiet, our storage units do not come with litter boxes, puppy pads, or chew toys of any kind.

How to find a great kennel for your pet now that you know self storage isn’t an option? According to the Humane Society of the United States, a good place to start is by asking your veterinarian or neighbor for a good recommendation in your area. Visit the facility ahead of time. Does it appear clean and well ventilated? Are the staff members friendly and knowledgeable? When it comes to cats, are they boarded away from the dogs, with enough space to roam comfortably? If you have a dog, will they be allowed time to exercise outdoors, protected from rain, wind and snow? Will they also have an indoor shelter? How often can you expect your pet to be fed and watered, and are regular examinations included in the daily rate?

Luckily, we don’t require any kennel cough vaccinations to store your belongings here at All Canadian Self Storage. With units priced from $25, truck rentals and monitored, secure locations, we specialize in storing your stuff, affordably and securely. Contact us today to find out more!
