Doing What We Can For Canada’s Healthcare Workers
The team at XYZ Storage is honoured to join ConquerCovid19 in the fight to protect those who work tirelessly to protect us – Canada’s frontline healthcare workers. The ConquerCovid19 organization, spearheaded by a team of physicians, business leaders and entrepreneurs, is working to ensure our healthcare workers have access to the protective equipment essential for treating patients safely and minimizing the spread of coronavirus.
Every Saturday for the foreseeable future, XYZ Storage will be hosting a socially-distanced PPE collection drive at our 459 Eastern Avenue location in Toronto. If you or anyone you know has extra masks, gloves, or other personal protective equipment, you can drop it off and we’ll ensure your donation makes it to those who need it most.
Can’t make it on Saturday? We’re accepting donations everyday at all of our locations across the GTA with the exception of our Mississauga facility. You can drop off donations from 9:00 am – 7:00 pm Monday- Friday and 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Saturday and Sunday. (Please note that we will be closed on April 10 for Good Friday)
- Masks/Respirators
- Face shields
- Ventilators
- 2-way baby monitors with audio function
- Tablets
- Fabric/Mask making material
- Diapers, formula, and other needs for women’s shelters
- Equipment and PPE for front line workers in shelters, hospices, nursing homes, etc.
In Ontario alone, healthcare workers make up 10% of known cases of Covid-19. With your help, we can ensure our brave frontline workers are working with as many safeguards in place as possible in the challenging days and weeks that lie ahead.
We have watched with pride and awe as communities across Canada have come together (while staying apart) to help each other persevere and work tirelessly through these unprecedented times. Canadians have always shown up for each other in tough times and this pandemic is no different. We know we will all get through this together.
