We’re happy to have hosted the first ever Flavours of Thorncliffe by the Thorncliffe Neighbourhood Office at our Laird Self Storage facility! We loved how the various foods and stories that were told reflected the cultural diversity of the neighbourhood. The goals of Flavours of Thorncliffe was to:

  1. Raise awareness of the living conditions and needs of the underserved population in Thorncliffe and Flemingdon Park neighbourhoods.
  2. Raise $30,000 to provide basic life essentials to the residents living in poverty in Thorncliffe and Flemingdon Park neighbourhoods.
  3. Prompt action from the media to highlight the poverty situation and for granting agencies to make neighbourhoods like Thorncliffe and Glemingdon Park a priority.
