Things you can’t store

For the safety of you and your neighbours, not everything can be stored.

flammable or explosive items

You cannot store flammable or explosive items. Examples of these items are ammunition, fireworks, gas, kerosene and lighter fluids.

toxic items or chemicals

You cannot store any items that may be harmful to the environment or hazardous to anyone’s health.

firearms and weapons

You cannot store any firearms or weapons of any kind, this includes anything primarily used as a weapon.

anything illegal

You cannot store drugs, stolen properties, or anything that is considered illegal.

food Items

You cannot store food items. Storing food items in your unit can lead to bad odors and infestations of insects and mice.

anything living

A storage unit is intended for storing non-living belongings, so it’s important not to store anything living, including pets, insects, plants, and people. Living in a storage unit is also strictly prohibited under any circumstances.
